Prosthodontics

Restore your teeth with long-lasting natural looking caps.

Restoration and maintenance of oral function, appearance, and comfort by use of prostheses. The oral prostheses replacing teeth may be removable dentures or partial dentures or permanently fixed tooth prostheses, connected to remaining teeth or implanted in the alveolar bone. Other prostheses include crowns and caps that replace the outer portions of teeth and protect the remaining structure. Prosthodontics also provides oral prostheses to correct deformities, such as cleft palate, and to replace alveolar bone in order to provide underlying support for dentures.

List of Services

• Fixed Bridge Crowns - Composed of multiple, attached units. It is called a fixed bridge because it provides a tooth-like bridge hanging over the area of the missing tooth, which are connected by dental crowns. If we do not replace the space provided by the previously extracted tooth, consequences may arise.

• Individual Crowns - A custom-made, permanent restoration. They look like a hollow, tooth shaped “cap”, which is placed over a prepared natural tooth. When cemented into place, crowns completely cover the entire visible portion of the tooth that lies at and above the gum line.

• Dentures - False teeth made to replace teeth you have lost. They can be complete or partial. Complete dentures cover your entire upper or lower jaw. Partials replace one or a few teeth.
